Experience That Turns Complexity Into Direction.

Nearly three decades helping organizations align marketing strategy, systems and execution around me

I’ve worked across analytics, automation, brand, media and marketing operations—not as isolated functions, but as parts of one connected business system.'

Today, I work directly with executives, marketing leaders and sales teams to identify what is limiting performance, establish clearer priorities and connect marketing more closely to business growth.

Whether I’m providing direct counsel or leading execution through BrandBright, the standard remains the same: understand the conditions, identify the right move and remain accountable for the outcome.

John Fazio, marketing.

What Experience Has Taught Me

Marketing Rarely Needs More Noise. It Needs a Clearer Read.

Experience across industries, markets and business models has reinforced three principles:

Strategy Before Activity

Understand the business problem before committing resources to the solution.

Systems Over Isolated Tactics

Marketing performs better when audience, channels, technology and teams operate together.

Outcomes Over Motion

Activity matters only when it contributes to measurable business progress.

Senior Perspective. Practical Application.

Strategic Direction

Backed by Experience. Supported by Credentials.

Experience Leads. Technology Supports It.

My work is informed by deep, hands-on experience across analytics, media, CRM, automation and performance measurement.

Understand the Conditions. Then Make the Move.

Marketing does not usually fail because teams lack effort. It fails when decisions lack context, priorities lack alignment or activity lacks accountability.

My standard is straightforward: understand the business, assess the conditions and commit to the decisions most likely to create measurable progress.

Not louder. Not trend-driven. Not reactive.

A Voice on Modern Marketing

I speak with leadership teams, industry groups and podcast audiences about the decisions that determine whether marketing performance compounds or stalls.

Drawing from nearly three decades across strategy, analytics, automation, media and executive advisory work, I bring practical frameworks grounded in real implementation—not theory.

Rooted in Central New York.

Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, I’ve always felt a strong connection to this community—its people, its pace, and its potential. While much of my career has played out on national stages, Central New York has remained home. It’s where relationships matter, reputations are earned, and long-term thinking still wins.

I’m grounded by family, close friends, and the rhythm of life outside the office. Whether on the golf course, out on the water, or exploring the lakes and small towns that define Upstate New York (and time spent in the Carolinas), I value the same principles in life that guide my work: trust, loyalty, discipline, and perspective.

My allegiances run deep—Syracuse Orange, Buffalo Bills, and decades of commitment to the Knicks rollercoaster. Around here, loyalty isn’t seasonal.
